From dentists to pediatritians to cosmetic surgeons, Doctors here are world class. Most Tunisian doctors study in France, Germany or Romania. They come back to Tunis and open practices and they really care about your health.
Doctors in Tunisia are phenomenal. Doctors spend at least half hour per appointment discussing any issues or concerns you have, be it a dentist, a GP, a Pediatritian - you are sure to not leave until all your questions are answered. If you are paying private clinics are very high quality with the latest machines, surgery and appointements are immediate. I had a consult for a hernia repair surgery and the doctor was able to book my surgery the next day. Cosmetic surgeons are also so specialized and an appointment can be arranged within the week. I have yet to find healthcare that matches the speed and quality of Tunisia and it is definitely a reason to be here if you want to know your family will have good medical care.
